In this lecture we will study Fourier series and this series is very important in many engineering applications. However, we will study first the periodic function and gives many examples to understand what its mean.Also, we will study the harmonic function or the fundamental periodic of function.Examples are given in each parts of lectures.The periodic of noncontinuous function will explained in details. The source of this lecture is stroud book. The odd and even function that used with Fourier series is also explained in details.The half rang Fourier series is explained and gives many examples to make it easier for student in third stage. The Fourier series for complex form is given in details with many examples. These are many relations for connection all terms of Fourier series were given with examples. The Fourier series will appear in the solution of partial differential equations by separations of variables method. this method used in many engineering applications like heat transfer and fluid flow. The lectures are divided in many parts to make the more familiar for students.
